Demo section
The Demo section of the 15th FRUCT conference will be combined with the conference social event. It will be held on April 24 (Thursday) from 17.30 till 20.30. The conference and seminar participants are warmly welcome to take part in the event. We ask all authors to send titles and 2-3 paragraph descriptions of your demo proposals to infofruct.org by March 31, 2014. Please also make sure that the demo will be prepared in line with the below provided recommendations.
Registration
Thanks to our sponsors, we provide free of charge registration to the conference, but all participants must fill-in the registration form below. If you are the conference author, please first register to the conference and then SUBMIT your Full paper (6 - 12 pages), or “presentation only” publication, poster/demo proposal (200 words - 5 pages document with standard paper header followed by the abstract text). Please submit your papers in ZIP or GZ format and make sure that it follows our template: MS Word or LaTeX.
Nokia free trainings
On April 21-22, 2014 Nokia and FRUCT invite you to take part in the Nokia Developers training. This is 2 days event that consists of 3 professional trainings on “Developing for Nokia X Platform”, “Advanced imaging with Nokia Imaging SDK”, and “Working with Windows Phone device APIs”. Practical Information
The conference will be held at the main building of National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics (ITMO). Address: St. Petersburg, Vasilievskiy island, Birzhevaya liniya, 14 (15 minutes walk from Vasileostrovskaya or Sportivnaya subway stations). The 15th conference of the Open Innovations Association FRUCT provides an unmatched collaboration and education forum for all matters Finnish-Russian technological and educational cooperation in ICT. The conference brings together the best and brightest that the Regional communities have to offer, including core developers, administrators, end users, business executives, and operations experts - the best technical talent and the decision makers and industry experts who are involved in the community.
Accomodation
We recommend some hotels for accommodation during the conference: LOCATION HOSTEL (http://en.location-hostel.ru/) is located in the center of Saint-Petersburg (Ligovskiy prospekt, 74). Call for Participation
The 15th conference of the Open Innovations Association FRUCT will be held in St.-Petersburg, Russia, on 21-25 April 2014. This project is co-funded by the European Union, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Finland. Overview of FRUCT FRUCT is the largest regional cooperation framework between academia and industry in form of open innovations. FRUCT conferences are attended by the representatives of 25 FRUCT member universities from Russia, Finland, Denmark, Italy, Ukraine, India, industrial experts from Samsung, Nokia, Qt community, EMC, EIT ICT Labs, Nokia Siemens Networks and a number of guests from other companies and universities.
News and Updates
15.04 Taking into account number of registrations and in order to have more comfortable conference premises we agreed to move conference to Vasilievskiy island, Birzhevaya liniya, 14. The new location is approximately 1km away from the previously announced location and it is in the beautiful historical center of the St. Petersburg city. Please check the updated program of the conference that is now available for download. 11.04 We welcome you to register to free Tizen Developers Lab training that will be held on April 22.
