Demo section
The Demo section of the 21st FRUCT conference will be combined with the conference social event. The conference and seminar participants are warmly welcome to take part in the event. Firstly, we ask all authors to send titles and 2-3 paragraph descriptions of your demo proposals to infofruct.org by November 3, 2017. Please also make sure that the demo will be prepared in line with the below provided recommendations. Secondly, all authors planning to present projects at FRUCT demo session must submit the presentation slides (in PDF), plus name and affiliation of the presenter to emails ilya.
Registration
*PLEASE NOTE: This is registration page of FRUCT21 conferences. Authors registration deadline is October 9, 2017. All Authors and Attendees must register and receive a conference badge in order to participate in conference activities. Download CFP REGISTRATION To be published in the FRUCT Conference Proceedings and IEEE Xplore, an author of an accepted Full paper is required to register for the conference at the full (member or non-member) rate and the paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference unless the Conference or TPC Chair grants permission for a substitute presenter.
AMICT'2017
The Annual International Workshop on Advances in Methods of Information and Communication Technology (AMICT’2017) will be held on the main days of 21st FRUCT conference on November 8-10, 2017. Overview The Annual International Workshop on Advances in Methods of Information and Communication Technology (AMICT’2017) is a result of the long-term cooperation between the computer science departments of the universities of Helsinki and Petrozavodsk. Starting from 1994, the workshop was entitled “Finnish Data Processing week (FDPW) at the University of Petrozavodsk” and starting from 2006 the early name FDPW has been changed to current name AMICT.
ISMW seminar
The seminar on Intelligence, Social Media and Web (ISMW) will be held on November 10, 2017. Overview This workshop aims to discuss the fundamental and applied problems in social media, artificial intelligence, natural language and multimedia processing, and crowdsourcing technologies. The main goal of this event is to unite researchers who study social interactions on the Internet, as well as researchers from the related fields without whose contribution the study of social networks would become difficult or impossible.
Call for Participation
The 21st conference of the Open Innovations Association FRUCT will be held in Helsinki, Finland, on 6-10 November 2017. Download CFP in PDF Overview of FRUCT FRUCT is a large regional cooperation framework that promotes open innovations of academia and industry. FRUCT conference is a high-quality scientific event for meeting academia and business people and setting projects. The average conference is attended by over 120 participants representing 30+ member organizations and guests from other organizations.
News and Updates
15.11.2017 I would like to express our deep gratitude to the local organizing team of University of Helsinki for great work! This time we get good formal results, i.e., the acceptance rate was 42%, the conference was attended by 114 participants from 23 countries! The conference proceedings are now available here and we expect that they will be visible in IEEE Xplore within next 6-9 months. Thanks to all attendees and I’m looking forward to see you at the next 22nd FRUCT conference in Petrozavodsk (Russia) on April 9-13, 2018.
