Registration
*PLEASE NOTE: This is registration page of FRUCT29 conferences. Authors registration deadline is April 16, 2021 (we recommend to register only AFTER you received the acceptance notification). Due to COVID-19 situation we allow online participation in the conference. All Authors and Attendees must register and receive a conference badge in order to participate in conference activities. Download CFP REGISTRATION To be published in the FRUCT Conference Proceedings and IEEE Xplore, an author of an accepted Full paper is required to register for the conference at the full (member or non-member) rate and the paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference unless the Conference or TPC Chair grants permission for a substitute presenter.
MMDM 2021 workshop
The 1st International Workshop on the Models and Methods for Driver Monitoring will be held on the main days of the 29th FRUCT conference on May 12-13, 2021. Download CFP in PDF. Despite COVID-19, we keep on collecting submissions and plan to hold the workshop as planned on May 12-13, 2021. The workshop is organized as a virtual event. We welcome you to Submit papers. Overview We are pleased to invite the community to submit to the 1st International Workshop on the Models and Methods for Driver Monitoring (MMDM 2021).
2nd DataWorld workshop
The 2nd Workshop on the Databases Worldwide will be held on the main days of the 29th FRUCT conference on May 12-13, 2021. Despite COVID-19, we keep on collecting submissions and plan, but the workshop will be held as a mixed of onsite and online participation, i.e., distant participation is welcome. We welcome you to submit your papers. Call for papers, posters and demos The workshop aims to provide complex discussion capability about the current problems and trends in the database systems.
Demos & Posters
The Demo and Posters section of the 29th FRUCT conference will be held on May 13, 2021 combined with the conference social event. This time the Demo and Posters section is organized in cooperation with Future Internet Journal and Applied Sciences Journal. All conference participants are warmly welcome to take part in the event. For Authors Demos/Posters is a special type of publication at FRUCT conference. Any registered conference participant can submit up to 3 demo/posters without extra fee, independently of the number of other types of submissions.
Call for Participation
The 29th IEEE Conference of the Open Innovations Association FRUCT is co-organized by FRUCT Association, Tampere University and IEEE Finland Section. The conference will be held in Tampere (Finland) on 12-14 May 2021. Download CFP in PDF Despite COVID-19, we keep on collecting submissions and plan to hold FRUCT as planned. The conference will be organized as a mix of onsite and remote participation, i.e., distant participation is allowed. If you select distant participation please don’t forget to send 8-10 min video of your presentation to info@fruct.
News and Updates
18.03.2021 We proudly announce that Joni-Kristian Kämäräinen from Tampere University will give a keynote talk at the 29th FRUCT conference. The talk title is Past and Present Grand Challenges of Computer Vision. Summary: We discuss the past and current grand challenges of computer vision. We particularly discuss whether they are solved or should they be further studied. The main goal of the talk is to provide some new avenues of research for computer vision scientists and inspire people from other fields to adopt the current technologies.
