Demo section
The Demo section of the 12th FRUCT conference will be combined with the demo session of the Regional seminar on Navigation and Travelling solutions and the conference social event. It will be held at University of Oulu on November 8 (Thursday) from 18.30 till 21.00. The conference and seminar participants are warmly welcome to take part in the event.
We ask all authors to send titles and 2-3 paragraph descriptions of your demo proposals ASAP to infofruct.
Registration
Thanks to our sponsors, we provide free of charge registration to the conference, but all participants must fill-in the registration form below. If you are the conference author, please first register to the conference and then SUBMIT your Full paper (4 - 12 pages), or “presentation only” publication, poster/demo proposal (200 words - 2 pages document with standard paper header followed by the abstract text). Please submit your papers in PDF format and make sure that it follows our template: MS Word or LaTeX.
e-Tourism seminar
On November 7, 2012 FRUCT Oy, Center for Internet Excellence (University of Oulu), Petrozavodsk State University, St. Petersburg Institute for Informatics and Automation of Russian Academy of Sciences and Tourist Information Centre of the Republic of Karelia organize seminar on e-Tourism in Karelia and Oulu Region. This seminar is a part of implementation of ENPI Karelia CBC KA322 project on Development of cross-border e-tourism framework for the programme region (Smart e-Tourism).
Low-Fi prototyping
On November 6, 2012 we welcome you to take part in Rapid Low-Fi Prototyping Techniques for Design workshop. Number of available sits is limited to 24 participants. After we get 24 applications registration to the workshop will be closed. You can register by filling registration form at the bottom of the page.
Rapid low-fi prototyping techniques are useful in the concepting phase of a technical research project. They provide tools for designers and researchers e.

3D Internet training
On November 6, 2012 we welcome you to take part in 3D Internet Programming with realXtend intensive course and hands-on training. The course and training will be given Jonne Nauha. Number of available sits is limited to 20 participants. After we get 20 applications registration to the training will be closed. Overview realXtend Tundra is a 3D application platform that can be used to implement a wide range on interactive multi-user applications.
m-Health seminar
Overview FRUCT Association together with Enterprise Forums organizes the 2nd Regional seminar on Mobile Healthcare, early diagnostics and fitness. Mobile healthcare is fast developing area with a lot of growth potential, research and business opportunities. The seminar is targeted to demonstrate state of the art in field of m-healthcare in Russia and Finland and support exchange of best practices and ideas with other regions. The seminar program consists of an intensive course provided by Prof.

The 12th conference of the Open Innovations Association FRUCT provides an unmatched collaboration and education forum for all matters Finnish-Russian technological and educational cooperation in ICT. The conference brings together the best and brightest that the Regional communities have to offer, including core developers, administrators, end users, business executives, and operations experts - the best technical talent and the decision makers and industry experts who are involved in the community.
Accomodation
The main section of the 12th FRUCT conference will be held in the main building of the University of Oulu. The university is located 20 minutes from the centre of Oulu. You can get there from the airport by bus number 19 or from the city centre (and the railway station) by buses 4, 6, 7, 16, 19. You can also walk from the city center through the picturesque places, but the whole route will take around 1,5 hours.
