18th FRUCT conference: Information Security

We welcome to take part in the Second Information Security and Protection of Information Technologies seminar (ISPIT-2016). Seminar will be held on the 18-22 April 2016 at the ITMO University, Saint Petersburg, Russia. The workshop is organized by department Secure Information Technologies of ITMO University. Overview

ISPIT is a scientific forum for professionals and scientists involved in cyber security and IT-security. It focuses on novel researches and developments in these areas. The seminar will bring together innovative thinkers, researchers, leading experts and security professionals to exchange and investigate ideas, outcomes and experiences in all aspects of IT-security.

The seminar addresses all aspects of research into technologies for information security. It highlights new results in the area of information security and protection of information. 

Keynote talk:

“On Optimal S-Boxes for Block Ciphers” will be given by Lilya Budaghyan. Lilya Budaghyan, a researcher from the University of Bergen (Norway), is a leading specialist in the field of Boolean functions and their applications. She obtained her PhD degree from the University of Magdeburg (Germany, 2005) and habilitation degree from the University of Paris VIII (France, 2013). An author of the book “Construction and Analysis of Cryptographic Functions”, she has been awarded a few prestigious fellowships and awards among which “Young Research Talent Grant” from Norwegian Research Council (2014), postdoctoral fellowship award from Foundation of Mathematical Sciences of Paris (2012) and Emil Artin Junior Prize in Mathematics (2011).

Topics of interest include (but are not limited to) the following subject areas:

  • Data Communication Channels Security 

  • Information security in the financial and banking sectors

  • Digital forensics

  • Cloud computing security

All submitted papers will be reviewed by qualified experts in the field of information security. All accepted papers will be included in the proceeding of the FRUCT & ISPIT conference, and Full Papers will be published in IEEE Xplore.
