Based on multiple requests of authors the submission deadline for papers and abstracts to the 14th FRUCT conference was extended. The new submission deadline is October 7, 2012.

We proudly announce that Roberto Saracco (President of EIT Italy and Node Director of EIT Italy based in Trento (European Institute for Innovation and Technology) will give an invite talk at 14th FRUCT conference. The title is “Technology evolution: towards a self aware ambient and proactive health care”. The talk will present a survey on the evolution of sensors, smart materials and communications infrastructure and the possibilities this opens to monitoring and proactive intervention in the health care area. The talk is scheduled for afternoon session of Nov 13.

We welcome you to take part and submit your contributions to the Open International M3 Semantic Interoperability Workshop jointly organized by Open Local Data Application activity at EIT (European Institute of Innovation and Technology) smart spaces thematic action line and Open Innovations Association FRUCT. The workshop will be held on 12th November 2013 in EIT Open Innovation House, Otaniementie 19B, Espoo, Finland.

We welcome you to make submissions to the 14th FRUCT conference here. All submission, i.e. full papers, presentation abstracts and poster/demo proposals have to be prepared using latest document templates (for abstracts/demo proposals the document shall contain standard paper header followed by 200 words - 5 pages of text). Please SUBMIT your papers in PDF format and make sure that it follows our template: MS Word or LaTeX. The submission deadline for full papers and abstracts is September 30, 2013. The acceptance notification deadline is October 14, 2013. Deadline for camera-ready submission is October 21, 2013.

The conference page is created and Call for Participation and Registration pages of the 14th FRUCT conference are available. The conference will be held in Helsinki, Finland on 11-15 of November 2013.
